Doctor Abdulla Alawadhi is working in Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital, in the pediatric neurology department. He has been a licensed consultant pediatric neurologist since April 2021.

He was accepted in McGill University, Montreal, Canada for a Pediatric neurology residency from 2014 to 2019 and passed the Canadian board exam and was designated a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) – of Neurology in 2019. Afterwards, doctor Alawadhi was accepted for a Fellowship in McGill University in Canada for two years in epilepsy/electroencephalography (EEG) Pediatrics between 2019-2021. He was inducted into the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN/EEG) in 2020.

Prior to that, while in UAE, Abdulla Alawadhi passed the Arab board in general pediatric and the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health exam (MRCPCH) in 2015 and 2013 respectively after 4 years residency between 2011-2015 in DHA hospitals.
