Professor Naila Rabbani is the head of proteomics at QU Health at Qatar University. She is a leading glycation researcher, developed the AGEomics technology and an expert in the development of diagnostic algorithms with over 20 years’ experience in clinical translational research.

Her research focus is: obesity, diabetes and related vascular complications and comorbidities, arthritis and autism. She uses the reference technique of stable isotope dilution analysis LCMS/MS technique in her studies. She employs AI machine learning for development of algorithms combining clinical features and biomarkers for diagnosis, risk prediction and therapeutic monitoring.

Professor Rabbani has over 147 publications and 9 patents, receiving over 15,300 citations and h-index 67 and is ranked in the top 2% scientists globally for citation of her work.
